Prairie Winds Pet Retreat

Prairie Winds is owned and operated by the White family - Sheri, Shane, Kaylie & Brayden.

As part of Wainwright's business community we are actively involved in supporting and participating in many of the local organizations that make Wainwright a great place to live.

Sheri is president of both Wainwright Communities in Bloom as well as the Blessed Sacrament School Council. I was nominated as Wainwright volunteer of the year in 2011 and awarded Ambassador to Wainwright & District in 2012. We are all regular volunteers for different groups and our children are involved in many of the local sports teams. 

Being a smaller family owned kennel gives us the opportunity to give your pets lots of one on one time and allows your pet to have familiar and consistent caregivers.  It is truly a family operation, our kids run straight off the bus and into the runs to play with their favorite visitors after school.

Directions:

From Airport Road - Follow Airport Road south from Wainwright (approx 7.5km's from the train tracks). We are on the corner of Airport Road and TWP 440 (approx 3.5km's past Ascot Heights)

From Hwy 41 - We are approximately 7.5km's south of Wainwright. Turn west at the sign for TWP 440 and follow until the next intersection (about 1 mile). We are on the corner of the first intersection. 

We are located on the southwest corner of the intersection and we are the only ones there. Our sign is on the corner.
